Philanthropy & Grantmaking Strategy

• Advised funder on investment strategy for new educator preparation pathway

• Designed and executing a family foundation's grantmaking strategy for early learning in New York City.

• Supported a national funder's efforts to strengthen home-based child care through advocacy, coalition building, and targeted outreach.

• Surveyed grantees of a K–12 and higher education funder to gather candid feedback as the foundation refined its strategy and ways of working.

Research & Policy

• Researching state efforts to unify early childhood governance — developing case studies and synthesizing lessons for state leaders, in partnership with a leading state policy researcher.

• Authoring a report on strengthening New York City's early childhood system ahead of universal expansion — grounded in participatory research with family child care providers, with recommendations on contracts, network supports, and compensation.

• Serving as policy advisor to two cohorts of a direct cash transfer program for family child care providers in New York City, convening grassroots and advocacy partners to translate evaluation findings into a shared policy agenda.

Program Design & Evaluation

• Designing and building an evaluation for a national association of nature-based early learning programs.

• Helped a start-up launch an evaluation, build systems to scale, and secure new funding.

Facilitation & Learning Design

• Leading the design and build of online professional learning modules for early childhood educators — convening national pedagogical experts, directing video documentation of high-quality sites, and overseeing the build.

• Designed and led professional learning for a nonprofit executive team to strengthen project management and cross-team collaboration.
